This is a half drilled Round Baltic Amber, a natural amber sourced from the Baltic Sea coast. It boasts high transparency and a beautiful, deep, vibrant blue. For the half drilled hole, you can use eye pins (insertable Metal Parts) or headpins with a Gauge of 0.8mm or less. Even in larger sizes, it is a lightweight and easy-to-handle material.

This amber has undergone pressure and heat treatment. Currently, amber processing technology has advanced, and it is common practice to apply heat and pressure to thin rough stones to reshape them into thicker forms, and then process them. This method makes it easier to create larger sizes and reduces raw material loss, allowing for more affordable sales. To our knowledge, most amber with consistent shapes in recent years has utilized this method. Regarding amber treated with this technique, there is no unified view from gemological societies, so depending on the individual knowledge and interpretation of gemologists, a "Amber" identification report may be issued, or the issuance of a report may be refused, or it may be judged as "imitation stone."
