This amber has undergone pressure and heat treatment. Currently, amber processing technology has advanced, and it is common practice to apply heat and pressure to thin rough stones to reshape them into thicker forms, and then process them. This method makes it easier to create larger sizes and reduces raw material loss, allowing for more affordable sales. There is no unified view from gemological societies regarding amber treated with this method. Therefore, depending on the individual knowledge and interpretation of the appraiser, a "amber" identification report may be issued, or the issuance of a report may be refused, or it may be judged as an "imitation stone."
