Morion is a brown crystal (Cairngorm) from the Cairngorm Mountains in Scotland. The name Morion is given to the darkest of these crystals, which have almost no light passing through them. Natural Morion is very rare, and most of the ones in circulation today are smoky quartz that has been treated with radiation.
