This item features a red Phoenix Carving, inspired by the "Four Divine Beasts Mythology." The Four Divine Beasts are spiritual creatures that govern the cardinal directions. Among them, the Phoenix (Suzaku) presides over the South. In the Five Elements theory, "red" is associated with the South, hence the red color of the Southern spiritual beast, the Phoenix.
Each individual crystal surface is meticulously hand-Carved by artisans, depicting the Phoenix. Despite the small size, the intricate details of the feathers are beautifully and carefully etched.
