Crystal quartz is the most common and historic of all gemstone minerals. White Quartz is unique because of the clarity of its crystal, and it is the absence of metallic elements that makes it colorless. It has a vitreous luster. Rock Crystal, or White Quartz, is a mineral made out of silicon dioxide. With a procedure known as "hydrothermal", Quartz crystals shape in cracks and crevices (vacuoles) in silica-rich rocks.Features of Quartz Beads
