14KGF Wire
14KGF wire is a frequently used item in handmade jewelry because it allows you to enjoy the texture of gold at a more reasonable price than solid gold wire like 18K.Various hardnesses and thicknesses (gauges) are available, so you can choose according to your needs. Half hard wire
Among 14KGF wires, this is one of our most popular products, with particularly high demand. It is harder than soft wire, and we recommend using tools such as pliers for working with it. This wire is suitable when you want to add stiffness to your designs. Gold Filled is a process where 14K gold is pressure-bonded to a base material (brass). If the weight of the gold constitutes 1/20 or more of the total weight, it is called Gold Filled. The characteristic of Gold Filled is that while the surface is entirely 14K gold, the invisible core (which does not touch the skin) is brass, making it more affordable. Therefore, its appearance is similar to solid gold parts and differs from plated parts. Additionally, it is more durable (less prone to peeling) than plating.
