This is a cabochon of Baltic Amber, natural amber from Poland, harvested along the Baltic Sea coast.
Natural amber is color-treated to achieve a vibrant red. The beautiful and mysterious shading varies from piece to piece. Internal cracks create a sparkling reflection, giving a more brilliant impression. We will send a mix of colors.

This product has undergone pressure-heat treatment. Currently, amber processing technology has advanced, and it is common practice to apply heat and pressure to thin rough stones to reshape them into thicker forms before processing. This method makes it easier to create larger sizes and reduces raw material loss, allowing for more affordable sales. To the best of our knowledge, most uniformly shaped amber pieces in recent years have utilized this method. For amber treated with this technique, there is no unified view from gemological societies, so depending on the individual knowledge and interpretation of the appraiser, a "amber" identification certificate may be issued, or the issuance of a certificate may be refused, or it may be judged as an "imitation stone."
