These are Akoya pearls from Uwajima, Ehime Prefecture. Akoya pearls are known as the "Queen of Pearls" for their elegant and profound luster, captivating people worldwide. Those 6mm or smaller are called "baby pearls" and are rare due to their limited production. They can be used as a necklace as is, or disassembled for use as individual parts.
