These are round cut beads of Colombian Green Amber. The transparency and vibrant green color are very beautiful. Amber's characteristic lightness is also an advantage.

This amber has undergone pressure and heat treatment. Currently, with advancements in amber processing technology, it is common practice to take thin rough stones, apply heat and pressure to reshape them into thicker forms, and then process them. This method makes it easier to create larger sizes and reduces raw material loss, allowing for more affordable sales. For amber treated with this method, there is no unified view from gemological societies. Therefore, depending on the individual knowledge and interpretation of the appraiser, a "Amber" identification report may be issued, or the issuance of a report may be refused, or it may be judged as an "imitation stone".
