These are half drilled Round Baltic Amber beads, sourced from the Baltic Sea coast. They boast high transparency and a beautiful blue-green to yellow gradient. Internal cracks create a sparkling reflection, giving them a more brilliant appearance. For the half drilled hole, eye pins (insert metal parts) or headpins with a gauge of 0.8mm or less can be used. Despite their larger size, they are lightweight and easy to handle.

This amber has undergone pressure and heat treatment. Currently, amber processing technology has advanced, and it is common practice to apply heat and pressure to thin rough stones to reshape them into thicker forms, and then process them. This method makes it easier to create larger sizes and reduces raw material loss, allowing for more affordable sales. To our knowledge, most amber with consistent shapes in recent years has utilized this method. There is no unified view from gemological societies regarding amber processed with this technique, so depending on the individual knowledge and interpretation of the appraiser, a "Amber" identification report may be issued, or the issuance of a report may be refused, or it may be judged as "imitation stone."
