This is a Baltic Amber cabochon, a natural amber sourced from the Baltic Sea coast.
Natural amber is color-treated to achieve this beautiful hue. Internal cracks are visible, and the sparkling reflections create a more brilliant impression. We will send a mix of colors.

This amber has undergone heat and pressure treatment. Currently, amber processing technology has advanced, and it is common practice to apply heat and pressure to thin rough stones to reshape them into thicker forms, which are then processed. This method makes it easier to create larger sizes and reduces raw material loss, allowing for more affordable sales. To the best of our knowledge, most amber with consistent shapes in recent years has been processed using this method. Regarding amber treated with this technique, there is no unified view from gemological societies, so depending on the individual knowledge and interpretation of gemologists, a "Amber" identification report may be issued, or the issuance of a report may be refused, or it may be judged as an "imitation stone."
