This method makes it easier to create larger sizes and reduces raw material loss, allowing for more affordable sales. There is no unified view among gemological societies regarding amber processed using this method. Therefore, depending on the individual knowledge and interpretation of a gemologist, a "Amber" identification report may be issued, or the issuance of a report may be refused, or it may be judged as an "imitation stone".
