Il s'agit d'un cristal en forme de ruban fabriqué à partir de cristal fondu (quartz reconstitué). Le cristal fondu est formé en faisant fondre de la poudre de quartz naturel à haute température. Il présente une grande transparence et une qualité stable car il est fabriqué artificiellement. Comme le quartz naturel, il contient du dioxyde de silicium, mais comme il n'est pas cristallisé, il est identifié comme "pierre d'imitation (verre)" lors des tests. Le prix du cristal naturel s'envole en raison de la diminution des pierres brutes de haute qualité. Le quartz fondu est plus abordable que le cristal naturel, veuillez donc choisir en fonction de vos besoins.
