Tiger's eye is a semi-precious stone containing quartz and hematite. It is one of the most famous natural stone. It gets its name from its troubling resemblance to the eye of a tiger. Its color varies from flamboyant yellow to brown, with beautiful iridescent effects depending on the orientation of the light. Blue tiger's eye is yellow tiger's eye when the iron content of the blue tiger's eye is oxidized and discolored.
