This is a Comma Shaped Bead made from Hokkaido Black Silica. Black Silica has the characteristic of emitting far-infrared rays over a wide range even at room temperature. For this reason, it is said to have health benefits such as alleviating cold sensitivity and stiff shoulders, promoting perspiration, and activating circulation, and is used in hot spring inns and bedrock baths. A random round bead of this Black Silica has been analyzed, and 76% silicon dioxide (SiO2), the main component of Black Silica, was confirmed. The analysis results can be viewed "here".
