These are Strip blue opal (Desert Opal) Chestnut (Leaf Carving) from a desert mine in India. The light blue to white parts are Opal, and the translucent gray to brown parts are Chalcedony. The stripe patterns and Color vary from pc to pc, giving each pc its own unique character. This item is sold only as a full strand because dividing it into half strands would result in variations in pattern.
