這是注金線材保護器。注金是一種將14K金透過壓力黏合到基礎金屬（黃銅）上的製程。如果金的重量佔總重量的1/20或以上，則稱為注金。透過壓力將14K金黏合，形成完整的14K表面，同時使用黃銅作為不顯眼的內核（不接觸皮膚），因此價格更具吸引力。其外觀類似實金零件，不同於電鍍零件。它也比電鍍更耐用（不易剝落）。類似於魚線擋珠，用於飾品的末端處理。它能保護包膠鋼絲和Griffin線免受摩擦，並防止它們從連接環等的間隙中滑出。最重要的是，它的吸引力在於能夠創造出整潔美觀的飾品末端。
