These are Baltic Amber cabochons, natural amber sourced from the Baltic Sea coast. The natural amber has been color treated to achieve this beautiful hue. The sparkle of internal cracks gives a gorgeous impression. We will send a mix of colors.

This product is amber that has undergone pressure and heat treatment. With advancements in processing technology, it is common practice to apply pressure and heat to thin rough stones to reshape them into thicker forms, and then process them. This method makes it easier to create larger sizes and reduces raw material loss, allowing for more affordable sales. To the best of our knowledge, most amber pieces with uniform shapes use this method. Regarding amber treated with this technique, there is no unified view from gemological societies, so depending on the knowledge and interpretation of the appraiser, it may be identified as "amber," or in some cases, a certificate of authenticity may be refused, or it may be judged as an "imitation stone."
