本產品經過壓力及熱處理。目前，隨著琥珀加工技術的進步，普遍採用熱壓處理，將薄的琥珀原石重塑成較厚的形狀，然後再進行加工。這種方法更容易製作出較大的尺寸，並減少原物料損耗，因此能夠以更實惠的價格出售。據我們所知，近年來大多數形狀均勻的琥珀都採用了這種方法。對於經過這種方法處理的琥珀，寶石學協會尚未有統一的觀點，因此根據鑑定師的個人知識和解釋，可能會出具「琥珀」鑑定報告，也可能拒絕出具報告，或被判斷為「仿製品」。
