本產品經過熱壓處理。目前琥珀加工技術已經進步，通常會對薄的粗糙石材施加熱壓，將其重塑成更厚的形狀，然後再進行加工。這種方法更容易製作出較大的尺寸，減少原材料損耗，從而能夠以更實惠的價格出售。據我們所知，近年來大多數形狀均勻的琥珀都採用了這種方法。對於經過這種技術處理的琥珀，寶石學協會沒有統一的看法。因此，根據鑑定師的個人知識和解釋，可能會發出「琥珀」鑑定報告，或者拒絕出具報告，或者可能被判斷為「仿製石」。
