根據寶石學院的說法，「無法清楚區分天然瑪瑙和陶瓷。」我們最初將這些商品作為陶瓷珠出售，但在確認類似商品以阿拉善瑪瑙（阿拉善戈壁瑪瑙）的名義流通後，我們也將它們以「阿拉善瑪瑙（阿拉善戈壁瑪瑙）」的名義出售。（工廠認為它們是天然瑪瑙，可在此處查看從工廠收到的原石照片。）
