此產品經過加壓加熱處理。目前，琥珀的加工技術已經進步，通常會對薄的粗糙原石施加熱壓，將其重塑成較厚的形狀，然後再進行進一步加工。這種方法使得製作更大尺寸的琥珀變得更容易，並減少了原材料的損失，從而可以更實惠的價格銷售。據我們所知，近年來大多數形狀一致的琥珀都採用了這種方法。對於經過這種方法處理的琥珀，寶石學協會沒有統一的看法，因此根據鑑定師的個人知識和解釋，可能會出具「琥珀」鑑定報告，也可能拒絕出具報告，或者被判斷為「仿製品」。
