This is a Gold Filled Oval Lobster w/Ring.
Gold Filled is a material where 14K gold is pressure-bonded to a base metal (brass).
When the weight of the gold constitutes 1/20th or more of the total weight, it is called Gold Filled.
The surface is entirely 14K gold, but by using brass for the invisible core (which does not touch the skin), it offers an attractive price point. Therefore, its appearance is similar to solid gold parts, differing from plated parts.
It is also more durable (less prone to peeling) than plating.
This item includes a movable Jump Ring (opening and closing type).
It can be used as a clasp for necklaces and bracelets.
