This is a Baltic Amber Pendant, a natural amber sourced from the Baltic Sea coast. The vibrant yellow color with high transparency is stunning. Internal cracks are visible, and the reflected light creates a more brilliant impression.

This product is amber that has undergone pressure and heat treatment. As processing technology has advanced, it has become common to correct thin raw stones into thicker shapes by applying pressure and heat, and then processing them. This method makes it easier to create larger sizes and reduces raw stone loss, allowing for more affordable sales. To the best of our knowledge, most amber with uniform shapes uses this method. Regarding amber processed with this technique, there is no unified view from gemological societies, so depending on the knowledge and interpretation of the appraiser, it may be identified as "amber," or in some cases, the issuance of aŠӕʏ‘ (identification report) may be refused, or it may be judged as an "imitation stone."
