These are half drilled round Baltic Amber beads, natural amber sourced from the Baltic Sea coast. They boast high transparency and a beautiful gradient from vivid red to yellow. Internal cracks are visible, reflecting light for a more brilliant impression. For the half drilled hole, you can use eye pins (insert metal parts) or 9-pins with a gauge of 0.8mm or less. Even in larger sizes, amber is a lightweight and easy-to-handle material. We will send a mix of bead sizes and colors.

This product is amber that has undergone pressure and heat treatment. With advancements in processing technology, it is common practice to apply pressure and heat to thin rough stones to reshape them into thicker forms, and then process them. This method makes it easier to create larger sizes and reduces raw material loss, allowing for more affordable sales. To the best of our knowledge, most amber with consistent shapes uses this method. There is no unified view from gemological societies regarding amber treated with this method, so depending on the knowledge and interpretation of the appraiser, it may be identified as "amber," or in some cases, the issuance of a gemological report may be refused, or it may be judged as "imitation stone."
