These are beautiful [Gem-quality] Ruby Drop (Smooth) beads from Africa. These natural Ruby beads have undergone lead glass filling treatment to enhance their luster. Previously, this treatment was often applied to high-grade Loose stones, but in recent years, its popularity has grown, and beads with the same treatment have become available. As a result, these beads achieve a quality comparable to Loose stones. They are polished into a plain drop shape without facets, characterized by the stone's inherent lustrous texture and rich appearance.
