Il s'agit d'une perle Mabe (perle demi-ronde d'huître à lèvre argentée), également connue sous le nom de "lumière du soleil".
Elle possède un beau lustre blanc et stable.
Bien que similaire aux perles Mabe, celle-ci utilise l'huître à lèvre argentée comme nacre, et non l'huître Mabe.
Au niveau mondial, les perles demi-rondes sont communément appelées "MABE" quelle que soit l'espèce de nacre. Cependant, au Japon, berceau des perles Mabe, il est considéré plus précis de les appeler perles demi-rondes plutôt que perles Mabe.
Comme elles ne sont pas percées, veuillez les utiliser pour le sertissage ou des applications similaires.
