Il s'agit d'une bague faite de petites perles de rubis synthétiques taillées en rond. Ce sont des structures cristallines de rubis créées artificiellement, et ce sont les premières pierres synthétiques jamais produites, la demande pour celles-ci existant depuis l'Antiquité. Le polissage de haute qualité donne des arêtes vives, ce qui leur confère une forte brillance. Bien que conçue comme une bague avec un élastique, elle peut également être démontée et utilisée comme des pièces individuelles.
