Ce sont des perles de Kaolinite (Kaolinite, Hylosite, Hirocite) en forme de tube. Ce sont des pierres synthétiques, appelées « neri », fabriquées à partir de poudre de pierre, et sont identifiées comme des imitations de pierres. Nous avons testé de les essuyer avec une serviette humide, et il n'y a eu aucune décoloration.
