Ce sont des perles taillées en rond étoilé en cristal synthétique (quartz artificiel). Le cristal synthétique est un cristal de quartz cultivé artificiellement, composé de dioxyde de silicium, avec la même dureté, la même densité et le même indice de réfraction que le cristal naturel. Grâce à un polissage supérieur et à des bords nets, ces perles présentent un éclat éblouissant avec de légers changements d'angle.
