Ce sont des perles de quartz cristal (quartz reconstitué) fondu facettées de haute qualité. Le cristal fondu est formé en faisant fondre de la poudre de quartz naturel à haute température. La transparence est excellente et, comme il est fabriqué artificiellement, la qualité est stable. Comme le quartz naturel, il contient du dioxyde de silicium, mais comme il n'est pas cristallisé, une évaluation aboutira à "Pierre d'imitation (verre)". Une autre forme a été évaluée, et le résultat est "Pierre d'imitation (verre)".
