Ce sont des perles rondes de la rare pierre American Wild Horse (Crazy Horse). Cette pierre naturelle a été nommée d'après le cheval sauvage (Appaloosa) en raison de sa couleur et de son motif. Le nom implique également que l'extraction de la pierre brute est aussi difficile que d'attraper un cheval sauvage. Elle se caractérise par des motifs en toile d'araignée brun-rougeâtre sur une base blanche et a été considérée comme une pierre particulièrement sacrée parmi les Amérindiens. Comme la Turquoise, elle est souvent utilisée dans les bijoux indiens et est une pierre naturelle très populaire parmi eux.
