Il s'agit d'un pendentif cœur rare en verre du désert de Libye (Verre libyen). Comme la Moldavite, c'est un verre naturel formé par l'impact d'une météorite. Ce verre naturel de couleur jaune, dû à la silice, ne se trouve que dans le désert de Libye. De nombreux ornements fabriqués à partir de ce verre naturel ont été mis au jour dans des ruines antiques autour du désert de Libye. Cette pierre a également été utilisée pour les yeux et la poitrine du célèbre Toutankhamon en Égypte, loin de la Libye. Des temps anciens à nos jours, sa rareté a captivé les gens. C'est un article très populaire en tant que pierre de pouvoir.
