Ce sont des perles en nacre en forme de croix (crucifix). Elles présentent le lustre unique du coquillage, que l'on ne trouve pas dans les pierres naturelles. Elles ne sont pas laminées et les deux côtés présentent un beau lustre. Étant donné que les dimensions verticales et horizontales sont les mêmes, elles peuvent être utilisées avec un trou percé verticalement ou un trou horizontal.
