Ce sont des quartz cristal brésiliens taillés en forme de poire avec une grande transparence. Ce sont des doublets (2 couches) avec une feuille d'or, d'argent et de cuivre (laiton) insérée entre les cristaux, permettant de voir un bel éclat sur chaque pièce. Puisqu'elles sont collées, il y a une couture au centre.
