Ce Vajra est fabriqué à partir de quartz cristallin naturel brésilien.
"Vajra" est un mot sanskrit, également connu sous le nom de "Kongosho" au Japon.
À l'origine une arme tenue par les anciennes divinités indiennes, il est maintenant utilisé comme instrument bouddhiste dans le bouddhisme ésotérique et le bouddhisme tibétain comme symbole de l'"esprit de Bodhi qui dissipe les désirs mondains".
En plus de son utilisation comme instrument bouddhiste, il est également populaire comme charme contre le mal et amulette de protection.
