Il s'agit d'une pierre de lune (feldspath) multicolore de Tanzanie. Les pierres sont généralement translucides et beaucoup présentent un effet schiller blanc. Certaines perles montrent même un éclat similaire à la pierre de soleil, donnant à ces pièces une impression douce et élégante avec leurs couleurs douces.
