Ce sont des quartz hématites rouges de Madagascar en forme de poire.
La couleur rouge est due à la teneur en fer, certaines perles présentant une teinte orange et d'autres un rouge profond.
Le quartz de base a une légère transparence, ce qui fait ressortir magnifiquement la couleur rouge.
Avec une taille de 35mm, ils sont recommandés comme point focal.
