Les perles de coton sont fabriquées en compressant du coton et en appliquant un revêtement perlé sur la surface. Les plis et les irrégularités naturelles du coton sont visibles à la surface, leur conférant une texture douce qui en fait un matériau populaire. Puisque la base est en coton, elles sont extrêmement légères, réduisant la charge lorsqu'elles sont portées, même dans des créations qui utilisent plusieurs perles pour un aspect substantiel. La couleur perle élégante les rend adaptées à diverses occasions, du formel au décontracté.
