Les perles de coton sont fabriquées en compressant du coton et en appliquant un revêtement de nacre sur la surface. Les plis naturels et les irrégularités du coton sont visibles sur la surface, leur conférant une texture douce très appréciée. Le noyau étant en coton, elles sont extrêmement légères, réduisant le poids lorsqu'elles sont portées, même dans des créations utilisant plusieurs perles. L'élégante couleur nacrée les rend adaptées à diverses occasions, du formel au décontracté.
