Il s'agit d'un pendentif en forme de croissant de lune fabriqué à partir de la météorite suédoise Muonionalusta. La météorite Muonionalusta a été découverte en Suède en 1906. Elle est célèbre pour son magnifique motif de Widmanstätten (le motif réticulé visible à la surface), qui n'est observé que dans les météorites de fer. Elle est recouverte d'un matériau spécial combinant du métal et des cristaux de céramique mélangés à un colorant or rose, ce qui la rend résistante aux frottements et à la corrosion. Au lieu d'une bélière, elle est dotée d'une rondelle avec un anneau, elle peut donc également être utilisée comme breloque pour les accessoires perlés. Un produit distinct du même fournisseur a été authentifié, le résultat étant "Météorite".
