Ammolite is an opal-like gem-quality material. Ammolite is mainly located on the eastern slopes of the rocky mountains and consists of the fossil remains of aragonite. Ammolite comes from the bedrock, ammonite, which has mineralized for 70 million years. It has been qualified as a gemstone by the CIBJO since 1981.Features of Ammolite Beads
